REMINDER – CHURCH CHAT AND MEET THE MOD’

A REMINDER

This Saturday the 15th March at 10.00a.m. is our CHURCH CHAT

The Moderator of the Yorkshire Synod is coming to meet with our fellowship too.

It is the role of the Moderator, amongst many other responsibilities, to care for and support almost 100 churches in the Yorkshire region – of which we are one.
So, as you will appreciate, it is a huge privilege for us to be able to hear about what the other 90ish churches are up to; what support is available for Hornsea URC* and for the Moderator to be able to share our stories of encouragement with others and offer guidance as we look forward to where God is leading our church to support and witness in our community.

PLEASE, PLEASE make this a priority in your diaries – we will start with a cuppa, have a break with cake and conclude with a light lunch of soup and a roll (and probably more cake!).

The Moderator – the Reverend Jamie Kissack is no stranger to Hornsea and those who have met him before will know what an inspirational person he is – please spread the word as I know he is looking forward to meeting with as many of us as possible.

* The Yorkshire Synod recently gave us £60,000 towards our development and a lot of advice.
